Yoga and Feasts One Day Winter Retreat 

Join Jenny and Rebecca at Blue Cow Yoga for our one day summer retreat – a day of yoga treats and healthy eats.

Location: Blue Cow Yoga, 7 Moorgate, London, EC2R 6AF
Date: Sunday 1 June 
Time: 10.00 am – 5.30 pm 

A Whole day of yoga with a focus on eating for optimum health to set us up for the summer months so we feel lighter and more energised. 

As we prepare for another seasonal shift, it’s time once again to tune into what our bodies need and how best to adapt – both in our yoga practice and in what we eat. The day will start at 10.30am with a dynamic yoga class, exploring a deep and more grounding practice to help restore energy and help build more discipline in our practice. This will be followed by a delicious breakfast and food workshop, focused around the same theme of restoring energy through food, as well as looking at the principles behind a summer cleanse.

In the afternoon we’ll be back on the mat for a yummy yin session to relax, allowing the body to soften and mind relax, with a focus on the organs linked to the spring and summer elements.

And finally, the day will be rounded off with a delicious feast to share.

A friendly and fun environment with plenty of opportunity to ask questions and discuss. The day will  leave you feeling invigorated and relaxed, with lots of inspiring tips and even recipes to take home!

Cost: £85 for the whole day including yoga, cooking workshops and healthy, organic vegetarian food.

Booking is essential. Please book here to pay a deposit of £25 to secure your place and pay the rest on the day.

Rebecca is a holistic chef and health coach, whose interest lies in understanding the relationship between food and health. Based in London, she works with groups and individuals helping them to build their cookery skills and improve their health through the use of natural wholefoods. Rebecca also specialises in retreat cooking, where her strong commitment to the practice of yoga enhances her ability to create balanced and nourishing food. Through her work, she draws on her knowledge of different approaches to healing and cooking, including her background in physiology and nutrition and more recent studies in macrobiotics and oriental medicine to help empower people to live healthier and happier lives. 

Jenny is a fully qualified yoga teacher who has been practicing yoga since 2000 and teaching since 2008, working with absolute beginners up to advanced level students. Her teaching and practice draw from a      mindful Hatha Yoga tradition mixed with dynamic flow to build strength and Iyengar for alignment.    teaching and practicing Yin also to balance the dynamic practice, provides a space to soften, stretch and slow down. yoga@jennybox.org
